Agile Bench was built because we couldn't find a tool to help manage our projects. In the past we'd used bug trackers, spreadsheets, word documents, wikis and even other agile tools to plan and estimate but it never quite worked for us. So we decided to develop Agile Bench.

We've tried to identify the key activities that make projects successful, namely understanding what you have delivered so far, where the blockers are, what you have to do next and whether you are likely to get it done based on past experience. We expect to build on these key activities as we extend the product further.

Agile Bench is a young product with lots of potential. We hope you'll join us for the ride. We're eager to know what you like, and even more eager to learn about what you don't like so we can make it better.
